History
Originated in Belize; brought to Florida by the Zill family nursery in the 1980s. Widely considered one of the best custard apple (Annona reticulata) selections available.
Taste profile
Creamy, rose-tinted flesh often compared to berry custard or raspberry cheesecake, with hints of caramelized sugar and cream.
Growing habits
A vigorous, dependably self-pollinating tree, producing 25-35 fruits on a mature specimen - one of the most prolific custard apple varieties available. Blooms begin in late summer, but fruit doesn't mature until the following spring.
