A descendant of Edward (and likely Pettigrew) from Gary Zill's breeding program, named in 2018 for its resemblance to a Sugar Loaf pineapple. A sibling to Coconut Cream, Angie, Seacrest, Duncan, and Young.
Taste profile
Soft, creamy, fiberless yellow flesh with a distinctly tropical flavor - pineapple notes when slightly underripe shifting to a strong coconut character at full ripeness.
Growing habits
A medium-sized tree with a moderately vigorous, spreading, open canopy - semi-dwarf but not truly a container ("condo") mango long-term. Mid-to-late season, typically July into August. Stays greenish-yellow even at full ripeness, which can make judging harvest timing tricky.
