History
A selection of Thailand's most popular mango variety, Nam Doc Mai - whose name translates to "water of the flower." M-4 is a specific improved selection of the original cultivar.
Taste profile
Intensely sweet, silky, and completely fiberless with a honeyed, floral flavor and little to no tartness - considered close to the archetypal Thai mango taste.
Growing habits
A moderately vigorous, upright tree that can be kept compact with regular pruning, doing well in Florida's heat. Notably, it can flower twice in a single season, giving an early and a later crop rather than just one.
