Mango
Ceci Love
History
From Gary Zill's breeding program, derived from Carrie with likely additional Zill Indochinese parentage. Named by horticulturist Dr. Richard Campbell after his wife, Cecilia.
Taste profile
Starts with a slight tart edge that fades into a deep, syrupy sweetness with unusual cola-like notes - similar in spirit to Sweet Tart but generally sweeter overall, in smooth, completely fiberless flesh.
Growing habits
A compact, semi-dwarf tree, easier to manage in size than many mango cultivars, with strong disease resistance. Mid-season, June to July.
